About Julie

Julie Haesche is a dedicated wellness educator and founder of Washington Wellness, specializing in holistic health through Yoga Therapy, Personal Training, Health Coaching, Hypnotherapy, and Reiki. With over 7 years of experience working in these disciplines, she empowers individuals to transform their lives by integrating the mind, body, and spirit. Julie's comprehensive approach includes individualized private sessions, ensuring a thorough pathway to health and wellness for each client, empowering them to cultivate resilience, balance, and vitality in their lives.

Yoga Therapy 

Julie is a certified Yoga Therapist from Kripalu School of Yoga and a member of The National Association of Yoga Therapists. Her approach focuses on mental health challenges—such as anxiety, depression, OCD, and grief—and neurological conditions—such as Parkinson's Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, ALS, and Muscular Dystrophy—supporting clients in their journeys toward mental and emotional resilience.

Personal Training 

A National Association of Sports Medicine-certified Personal Trainer, Julie specializes in Corrective Exercise and Injury Prevention. Her personal training emphasizes pain management and corrective exercise by identifying muscle imbalances and movement compensations. 

Ayurvedic Nutrition + Health Coaching

As an Ayurvedic Nutrition Counselor, Julie guides clients in making informed dietary choices that enhance their well-being based on The Doshas. By combining her expertise in health coaching, Julie provides preventative health strategies for or clients seeking to improve conditions like high cholesterol, hypertension, osteoporosis, and cardiovascular disease, helping to improve overall health and fitness.

Reiki + Hypnotherapy

As a Reiki Master trained by Libby Barnett at Kripalu, Julie offers energy healing sessions, fostering a deeper connection between mind, body, and spirit. She incorporates hypnotherapy services to help clients address anxiety and stress, sleep disorders, chronic illness and pain, weight loss, behavior changes, and subconscious barriers to promote personal growth. 

Public Yoga Classes

With training in various yoga disciplines—including Kundalini, Vinyasa, Hatha, Restorative, Yin, and Katonah Yoga—Julie leads public yoga classes that blend tradition and innovation. Her rich teaching style is influenced by esteemed instructors such as Ravi Singh, Matt Giordano, Jason Crandell, and Elena Brower, creating an inclusive environment for all levels.

As the founder of Washington Wellness, Julie has created a welcoming community for individuals seeking to improve their physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Her approach is holistic, emphasizing the importance of self-care, mindfulness, and connection.

Beyond her work in the healing arts, Julie is also an artist and animal lover. She lives on a farm with her partner, where they care for sheep, chickens, bees, and a rescue cat. Her benevolent spirit and commitment to helping others make her an inspiring and highly respected member of the wellness community.
